In the 1600s the Pilgrims celebrated their first successful harvest in Plymouth, also known as the first Thanksgiving. To this day, on the fourth Thursday in November Americans can be found gathered around a table with turkey and loved ones still celebrating this holiday. The Thanksgiving season is often a time when people show gratitude for the family, friends, and many other things in their lives.
